Some things that are undone will remain in that state until they are done, some things, when done cannot be undone, at the center of these is choice.
You decide what to do and what not to do, that decision becomes past when taken and future when attained.
With time the future becomes past, everything becomes past, all your actions and inactions become past, past is cumulative.
A minute from now will be your past, to have a great past that you can look back and be proud of; make your now count.
